2008年3月19日，英国Aberystwyth大学商学院会计系主任Megan Ruth Margrave女士来信称赞我学院2004级留学生，这些学生的表现给两校教师带来的快乐是共同的。我们相信，这些消息也会给我院在校学生带来鼓舞和激励。邮件原文及译文摘要如下：

It is easier for me to talk about the students in the third year as I have a clearer view of how they are performing. Last year Bo Ma won the Sir Julian Hodge Prize for the best Financial Accounting paper. This is the module that the students are given the test in the first lecture, so it shows how hard he worked to be top of the year. I would hope that Bo will achieve a first, but he will have to continue to work hard and consistently. If he maintains his performance Bo could also win the prize for ‘Best International Student’ this year.

Zhe Cui and Tian Pang continue to do well both should get upper seconds, if they have an excellent performance in this semester’s examinations they may get a first.Xin Li should get a lower second but I know she is aiming for an upper second.

BNU really should be proud of these students. Considering they are direct entry to the second year and have to contend with settling down in a new environment, new language, new food etc they have really performed very well. More importantly, I can honestly say they are lovely students as well as being academic and have been a pleasure to have here.

    崔喆和庞天一两位学生现在的学习情况也很好，他们已经达到二等上的成绩，如果他们在本学期考试中继续取得优秀成绩，他们也将获得一等生的学士学位。

     李昕现在是二等下的水平，但是我知道，她的努力目标是二等上的成绩。

    北师大珠海分校应该为有这样的学生而感到骄傲。因为他们是直接进入英国大学高年级学习的，他们必须要在新的环境中去克服各种各样的困难，如新的语言环境、新的饮食，等等。他们出色的完成了这一切。更重要的是，我要真诚地说，他们是一群可爱的学生，作为教师为有这样的学生而感到高兴。
