2006年12月30日，我学院收到美国绿河社区学院国际项目主任Ross Jennings先生发来的邮件，他向我们通报了一个喜讯：我学院留美学生（27人）秋季学期所学课程取得了总体平均GPA3.73的优异成绩，这是一个令人振奋的好消息！我们为你们所取得的成绩感到骄傲！你们为母校争了光，为中国留学生争了光！在此，衷心地祝愿我学院留学学生2007年秋季成功进入自己理想的美国知名大学。

My Dear IFC/BNU Zhuhai Students:

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! I hope you’re enjoying the holidays.

I calculated your fall quarter grades, and am very happy to report that this is the median (average) college-level grade point average: 3.73

That is very, very good. Sarah and I are proud of you.

Now is the time to work on your applications for university transfer. Let Sarah or me know if you need any help or advice. Those GPA’s will help you in getting into top universities.

Also, don’t forget to register for TOEFL, if your transfer universities require it. We will be offering international TOEFL at our Kent Campus this coming quarter, but we’re not sure whether it will start in January or February.
